You can overcome the unthinkable.

“The life we have is the life we’ve got to figure out what to do with.”

I am a Christian, intellectual, who obviously curses sometimes.

One of my first first public speeches was delivered to a crowd of sleepy church members on a Sunday afternoon following a large buffet dinner. Challenging? Of course! By the end, they were clapping, laughing, and “amening” all over the place. I was five years old and I loved it.

I have a long list of sins so I don’t regularly speak much at church anymore. I am also too chicken to be a comedian so I use humor in my small little corner of the world to help my clients face and overcome some of their toughest obstacles.

I will forever be a chemical engineer and although my personality vehemently disagrees, I believe this technical background coupled with some lessons from the school of hard-knocks is partly why I have the ability to be a trusted friend when anyone is faced with the unthinkable.

I have a thorough understanding of how empathy and compassion can champion change.

For over two decades I have led enterprise-wide leadership development efforts within companies, and consulted with hundreds of organizations on leadership, accountability, change management, and diversity & inclusion.

After obtaining my doctorate in leadership and management, I decided that I would rather work with people directly. Why? Well, because organizations are only as healthy as the people who work inside them every day. People experience loss and failure and often need to continue to go to work.

I have masters in adult education and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering. I am certified in many of the leading assessment tools and work with some of the best and brightest in leadership development across the academia, non-profit, and private business sectors. More importantly, I have grown up in and navigated one of the most violent zip codes in the nation. On any given day I can be on a private jet one minute and in a prison waiting room the next which uniquely qualifies me to help you lead your whole life. You do not need to be at the mercy of your organization and their employee assistance program. You don’t need a 90-day retreat in the woods. You need a trusted partner to dig in with you to help you tap into everything God already gave you. You will be just fine and your answer is there if you look for it… I’m certain of it!
